  8. EpsLab is the successor of BinEps. The name has changed because it can now
  9. convert PostScript files to EPS files, and the preview image can also be
  10. created in ASCII format (EPSI files). Besides, I will probably add some other
  11. EPS handling capabilities (rotation, scaling etc.) in the future.

  13. In the 'Documentation' drawer you can find two files:

  15.           'EpsLab.doc'   is in simple ASCII format.
  16.  
  17.           'EpsLab.guide' is the AmigaGuide document: if you have OS 3.x
  18.                          you may have to change the default tool of this
  19.                          file from 'AmigaGuide' to 'Multiview' in order
  20.                          to view it.
  21.                          Besides, be sure that AmigaGuide or Multiview are
  22.                          located in a place included in the search path.
  23.                          If you don't have AmigaGuide nor Multiview, read
  24.                          the '.doc' file.

  26. The file named 'Install' is a script for Commodore's install utility, which
  27.     comes with the release 2.1 or later of the operating system. You can find
  28.     it on the 'Install' disk with the name 'Installer': if you copy it from that
  29.     disk into you C: directory, you can double-click 'Install' to have a guided
  30.     installation of EpsLab.
  31.     If you don't have release 2.1 or later, but you have bought some original
  32.     program (not games) in the last few months, it could be you can find the
  33.     'Installer' utility on the install disk of those programs: copy it in
  34.     your C: directory and double-click 'Install'.
  35.     You can also find the 'Installer' on FishDisk nr.870 (Installer.lha).
  36.     If you can't obtain 'Installer', plese read the documentation at the
  37.     'Installation' section.
